Skyscraper of Liberty

Among the architectural and engineering wonders of the world, only one is quintessentially American.

Castles, bridges, dams, arches, cathedrals, temples, post offices, museums, senates, coliseums, towers, obelisks, theaters, opera houses, hotels, pyramids, even banks . . . we invented none of ‘em.

But the SKYSCRAPER has American ingenuity written ALL over it.  We NAILED the concepts of ambition, efficiency, innovation and style with the Skyscraper.   An unabashedly phallic symbol, it’s reach-for-the-stars gusto leaves nothing to chance and everything to the imagination.

Not that anyone asked, but I don’t like the name One World Trade Center.  It’s anemic and obsequious.

I like Skyscraper of Liberty.  It makes for a nice set.
